FUN: in the POOL, on the PIANO, at the PARK & Taking PICS :)

Okay... So... I TRIED to Narrow down the selection of photos... there are obviously still a lot to look at, however, these are about 1/4 of ALL the photos I took yesterday. Our good friends Tab, Hen, Marc & Nene came over to play yesterday. We enjoyed their company SOOO much! Izzy really loves his buds! I love how he watches Henry and tries to do what he does :) We are so blessed and so thankful to have our new friends. The Lord is definately good! & HIS timing is ALWAYS perfect! There are no words to describe all the FUN we had yesterday... so.... take a look :)

So Izaac was trying to climb like his buds were and he only got this far and got stuck. Tab and I laughed at his expense while he tried to figure out how to get out. lol.

Family Photos - June 2010

So My sis... (step sis) is here from Colombia w/ her hubby. We are leaving for Disney in the morning. Anyway, We have a family friend that takes really great pics.... She took family pics of us yesterday afternoon. It was waaay too hot to get very many good photos... most of them came out like we were sittin in a Sauna... however... these are the few that came out cute :) My fav ones of course are the ones of David holdin Izaac up and we are all laughing. Izaac was actually CRYING from heat exhaustion but when we started doing this he laughed just long enough to take a couple pics. Anyway, Hope you enjoy :)

Play time and Flash Cards w/ Izzy

Sooo I used to do these flash cards with Izaac and then life happened... so I started again today... It's so cute how he gets all wide-eyed and smiley .... Of the 9 cards he picked out the Sun (sol) ... He knows what the other ones are but I am working w/ him on picking them out and on SAYING the word ...

FUN W/ THE BUDS

So on Wednesday, my bud Tab came over with her precious kiddos. Izaac was so happy to see his buddies. :) We had "secretly" planned to take the kiddos to the pool for the afternoon... but being that we are in unpredictable South Florida... we got rained out! We had to spend the day inside. I was a little concerned the kids would go stir crazy being cooped up inside, but they were actually quite contented.... other than poor Nene asking every hour if we could go to the pool. I guess we are not very good SECRET planners lol She kept saying that it was only raining "just a little bit momma" After a nice afternoon of chatting w/ Tab which watching the kiddos play pretty peacefully for the most part... We realized that it had some how gone from 4:15 to 5:35 in about 5 seconds!!!! We had to somehow get dinner prepared and on the table ASAP! I wish I had taken pics of our oh so smooth teamwork :) By the time we started preparing the meal, the kids started to break down from exhaustion and HUNGER! THANKFULLY.... my darlin' hubbs got home from work just in time to SAVE THE DAY! He was able to entertain the kiddos by setting up our ROCK BAND drums and microphone. He ate up every word the kids told him even though he said that it didn't all actually make sense to him , but he knows it must have to them because they were so animated about it. I think my fav part, the part that I regret not getting pics of, was when Hen started singing at the top of his lungs and either Nene or Marc sang along with him. It was a lil bit off key but so sweet! and it was hilarious that they each got louder and louder trying to drown eachother out! lol

Anyway, I think it suffices to say that we had a great day despite getting rained out! I'm so glad they were able to come spend the day!

Happy Anniversary

So May 1st was our 6 year Anniversary :) My mom took Izaac so that my hubbs and I could have a day together :) First we spent the day at the beach. We took a packed lunch. Then we went to dinner at Benihana. We had never eaten there before. It was so nice to have the food cooked right in front of us. They knew it was our anniversary so they sang to us and brought us a free dessert.... Fried bananas and Ice cream! so yummy! The food was awesome. We had so much fun. Also our cook was being creative and shaped the fried rice in the shape of a heart. He stuck the spatula under it and made it look like the heart was beating. We had such a great day! Love him so!

Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes...

Izaac is now 20 months old! We noticed last week, that when he needed to poop, he would go hide in the same corner in the dining room.... Well, since he is now "aware" of his poopings, we decided to introduce the potty. It's been going ok. Got pee'd on several times while he was sitting on the potty... but that is another blog in itself lol. Anyway... I try to find ways to entertain him while he sits. Books, songs, testing his vast knowledge of body parts lol Below is a collage of his "knowledge". Yes he is sitting on the pot, but there is nothing visible if you know what i mean :) He knows more than what is shown, but those could not be cropped appropriately lol enjoy!
