Family Explanation

Okay so... As you may have noticed on my facebook, I have a LOT of siblings. 8 siblings total. Lots of bro/sis in laws. And 8 total nieces and nephews.

I will try to explain as best and as simply as I can:

I will start by saying that I love ALL my sibs very much!

OKay, so, in short, I dont have any "full blooded" siblings. We are all half sibs. except one pair but i'll explain that later.

My mom, Mary was born in Cuban and came to the US when she was 11. She was married before and had ME :) She remarried when I was 4 years old. My "stepdad", David is my DAD to me. I have ONE brother from them, David Jr. aka "pa" (nickname).

THEN, from my step dad, I have ONE sister. I actually Just met her last year. Long story. She really is a LONG LOST sibling. Dad knew he had a daughter but no way to find her. She was in Colombia w/ her mom. Long story. Anyway, she found us last year and is the sweetest thing! Her name is Natalia and her husband's name is Juan-David.

Now my biological father has many names, but "dad" is NOT one of them. He was rarely around, just when he felt like it. Anyway, his name is Caesar. I have 6(SIX) siblings from him. All from different mothers.... except the two youngest ones, he had two kids w/ their mom.

So from Caesar the list of kids goes as follows: Caesar JR. , Michael, ME, Jazmin, Tiffany, CHyna and Erik. Chyna and Erik are the ones that have same mother.

So that's a total of 8 siblings.

We have a total of 9 nieces and nephews.

Now, David's family is from Colombia. They came from Colombia. He is one of 3 kids. He has two brothers, John and Gimel. John is married to Amanda and they have two kids. 1 boy named Ian and 1 girl named Paighten (aka Pai). Gimel is married to Jaime and they have 4 kids. 3 boys, Aadan, Daleth & Josiah and 1 girl Anabelle.

My brother Mike is married to Jaimie (yes I have two sis in laws w/ same name but spelled diff) They have 2 sons: Aden and Kai. (yes I also have two nephews w/ same name spelled diff)

My sister Tiffany is married to Dave (David is a popular name in my family lol) They JUST had their first baby last week! Beautiful baby girl named Natalie! I haven't met her yet because they are in NY : ( I can't wait!

So... that's my family. . . complicated... but my family. :) If I think of more to tell I'll add it on. :) Any questions are welcomed as I'm sure that I left a bunch of stuff out. lol

Below are some pictures :)

Last Wrights

So today we had a very nice lunch w/ our Wright buds.... in spite of the fact that the weather was kinda yucky and the kids were not feeling very well.

We were hoping to picnic on the beach, but it was over-cast and SUPER windy... so xpecting rain we decided to eat in. James made some yummers burgers and hot dogs (hot dog hot dog hot diggidy dog!....) Thanks James!

We attempted to take the kids to the beach to "have fun".... FUN was the IDEA, but when we got there, there were at least 50 people gathered around the play area.... They did play a little... but Marc was feeling really sick, Nene and Hen were tired and... darling Izzy decided to have a MAJOR poop dipe!!!! EEEEWWWWW seriously was almost about to go up his back! And I had JUST changed a poop dipe bout 30 minutes prior... must have been the beans he ate yesterday LOL

So, below are just a few pics that I was able to take. I did not do my usual pic taking as circumstances really did not allow.

You will notice there's a pic of David barely holdin on to Izzy as we walked back to the apt. .... that's because David didn't want to SMOOSH the POO LOL AND because when he tried to hold him closer the WIND blew the stankness right into his face LOL

Also, there is no pic of Me and Tab because... frankly.... there wasn't a good ONE. LOL

Anyway, the title is "last wrights" because our buds are headin back to KS to visit w/ familia..... for a whole MONTH.... and this may be our last visit until they return.

This trip is certainly going to be fun and much needed for THEM... however... I have gotten used to having them around! IDK what I am going to do w/out you guys for an entire month! : (

Fun before Couponing

So before the craziness of the couponing, we first decided to let the kiddos go play and burn off some energy : )

I'm really not sure why I can't get the pics to go in the order that I want, but... ENJOY : )

Stressful yet Fun

Soooo..... my new friend Tab got me into the world of couponing. I have other friends that had mentioned that they do it too, but Tab REALLY explained in detail and walked me through it. I could not believe how LONG it took to just CLIP the coupons!... Once I clipped them I just stared at the mountain of coupons on my dining table and panicked! I got a little overwhelmed and Tab, being the super friend that she is, volunteered to help me sort the coupons and match w/ the sales going on .... So we had a very long and eventful, but wonderful day. . . And I am happy to say that I SAVED much more than I Spent. I believe the total spent between publix, walgreens and cvs yesterday was $65-ish and total SAVED was $85-ish.... I could NOT believe it! I am actually looking forward to doing it all again! We'll see how well I do without my trustee side-kick for a WHOLE month... aye! Here is a pick of most of what I was able to get w/ $65....Looking forward to the upcoming weeks Sales! SAVE SAVE SAVE~ p.s. Thanks Tab! :)

Adventures In Motherhood

Okay, So, the past couple days Izzy has grown by leaps and bounds.... And I dont mean that physically... although that too... but I mean developmentally.

Two weeks ago he was afraid of the slide, Now he wants me to take him down the highest one. Of course he still wont do it alone even on the short ones... but still.

Also, He is very much enjoying walking backwards... spinning around... tippy toe-ing....

Just two days ago he figured out how to climb the small steps to a slide ... and TODAY he climbed up a flight of stairs at my sister-in-laws house without any of us realizing it!

A very wise friend told me that he can do much more than I give him credit for.... she is RIGHT. I am such a silly "first time mommy" .... I need to give him room to grow!

I realize more and more every day that I need to take it all in now... my baby boy will soon not be a baby any longer : (

CHEESE

Okay. So I am new to blogging. We'll see how this goes.

Cheese... I am not speaking of cheese that you eat.... although I do LOVE cheese. I am going to share a short story with you from my day at the park w/ our 18 month old son Izaac (aka Izzy for future ref)

So Izzy's favorite thing at the park seems to be the "Merry Go Round".... I guess he likes to get dizzy. LOL Anyway, so there we were spinning ... slowly of course, but spinning nonetheless.... when the MGR(Merry Go Round) Stopped... he looked down and saw my camera. He picked up my camera, handed it to me, stood in front of me and said very clearly "CHEEESE!"

WHAT!? He totally caught me off guard... he had never done that before. He says a few words but rarely anything so diliberate! It was so funny! So of course, I took a picture! (It's the one posted w/ this blog)

I was so excited that I sent my husband a text while he was at work and shared this amazing story with him!.... My husband's response: "that's great love... although kinda sad to think that you torture him enough that now he wants to get it out of the way willingly" Pfff HAHA... my husband is so funny. I did not take offense to his comment... at least not much : ) I knew he was joking! And besides, although I realize that I am a TRUE "Mom-A-Razi"... I would like to think that Izzy is just appreciative of my craziness and that he enjoys being a ham as much as my mom says that I was at his age. : )
